There is a ‘very real possibility’ of Gareth Bale leaving Real Madrid for Manchester United this summer. That is the claim from Spanish football expert Graham Hunter, who spoke to talkSPORT’s Hawksbee and Jacobs show on Tuesday.United boss Jose Mourinho is looking to boost his attacking options this summer and is widely reported to have made Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann his top target. But Hunter believes it could be another of LaLiga’s superstar talents – Bale –id attacker Antoine Griezmann. The Sun says United are prepared to smash their transfer record by offering Atletico Madrid £95million for the striker.Barcelona appeared close to landing the France World Cup star – but their failure to make an officia; who heads to Old Trafford in a big-money deal.“I think Gareth Baleis mulling things over at the moment,” he said.“Before you look at Griezmann and Manchester United there is a very real opportunity [with Bale]. If Gareth Bale decides to press the button and say to Real Madrid ‘I would like to go home again’ thereis a very real possibility of that happening.“Griezmann is a much trickier subject because the transfer ban Atletico Madrid are suffering at the moment means they can’t buy a replacement and they are moving to a new stadium. It is vital to keep Griezmann.“There is a possibility that Bale says ‘I am going to cash my chips in, it has been brilliant here, win in Cardiff [the Champions League final] and maybe Manchester United this summer.’ Maybe.”United are also being heavily linked with another Real Madrid star, Andn Stamford Bridge into a fortress. The Blues are yet to win a game at home this season.”Of course [we need to win more at home], if you look at the games we have had we can take positives from every game we have had,” Mount said with Chelsea facing ho Hunter expects a deal for the Colombian playmaker to go through.“Real Madrid want to sell, his price is gettable by Manchester United and they want a world star,” said Hunter.“It fits for Manchester United and I think it is going tohappen.“It makes total sense to me. He is definitely going [to leave Real Madrid].”

Former England footballer Adam Johnson has lost a challenge against his conviction for sexual activity with a besotted 15-year-old fan.His application for permission to appeal was dismissed by three judges in London on Thursday. The Court of Appeal judges also rejected his bid for a reduction in his six-year jail sentence. The decisions in renewed applications made by 29-year-old Johnson – following earlier refusals by a single judge – were made by Lady Justice Rafferty, Mr Justice Sweeney and the Recorder of Sheffield, Judge Julian Goose. At the start of his trial at Bradford Crown Court, Johnson admitted one charge of sexual activity with a child, relating to kissing her. He also admitted a charge of meeting a child with intent following grooming her.He denied there was any further sexual activity with her ierde admits he’s concerned the feud between the Spanish FA and LaLiga will be damaging. No agreement has been reached between the two governing bodies on the new date of El Clasico between the Blaugrana and Real Madrid, which was postponed due to the n his Range Rover when he met up with her in County Durham in January 2015.But the former Sunderland and Manchester City winger was found guilty by a jury in March last year of one offence of sexual activity with a childJudge Jonathan Rose, when sentencing Johnson, said he was satisfied the girl suffered “severe psychological harm” and that he took advantage of “a young teenager’s adoration of a successful celebrity”.At the centre of Johnson’s fight against conviction was a criticism that the trial judge “misdirected” the jury on issues of his “credibility”.Eleanor Laws QC, representing Johnson at a recent hearing at the Court of Appeal, argued that this must have had “an adverse and unfair impact on the credibility of Adam Johnson in a case where credibility was the central issue, hence the conviction is unsafe”.But in the court’s written ruling, Lady Justice Rafferty said that although the trial judge was in “error” in relation to a particular direction during summing up, “the error does not imperil the safety of the conviction”.The three judges were also asked to rule on a submission that the jail sentence imposed was “too much for this offence”.His QC had submitted: “When one looks at the sentencing judge’s remarks, he was clearly highly influenced by the fact that the applicant was a famous and successful footballio Pochettino to eventually replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Independent says United players are already talking about Pochettino taking over, with reports claiming that some members of the squad believe he will replace Solskjaer next summer. Pochetter and, in fact, counted that against him.”Dismissing the sentence application, Lady Justice Rafferty said the single judge wrote: “Although a sentence of six years may be stiff, even severe, I do not consider it to be arguable that it was manifestly excessive.”Lady Justice Rafferty added: “We agree.”

A last-gasp Sergio Ramos header secured a 1-1 draw for Real Madrid in the Clasico against Barcelona to maintain their six-point lead at the top of LaLiga. The home side took a 53rd-minute lead thanks to a Luis Suarez header and had chances through Neymar and Lionel Messi to extend their advantage. But Ramos punished them in the final moments to silence the Nou Camp and extend Real’s unbeaten run to 33 games in all competitions. For all the hype it had been a low-quality match, and one which certainly now gives Madrid the edge in this season’s title race. Both sides had early claims for a penalty turned down. First, Lucas Vazquez appeared to be bundled over by Javier Mascherano before Sergi Roberto felt his hooked cross had been charged down by the arm of Ramos.Isco was the first player to be booked for a foul on Neymar before Messi sent a fairly tame free-kick straight into the midriff of Real goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who had barely anything else to do in the first half.Mascherano charged down a volley from Karim Benzema after Vazquez had the beating of Sergi Roberto down the left before Cristiano Ronaldo tried to stamp his influence on the game.First he advanced into the box after Luka Modric sent him clear on the counter-attack, but Gerard Pique narrowed his angle to shoot and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen saved comfortably at his near post in the 37th minute.Seconds later the Portuguese star nutmegged Mascherano but toe-poked a shot straight at Ter Stegen under pressure from Jordi Alba on the cover.Barcelona screamed for a penalty again when Dani Carvajal appeared to block a cross from the left with his arm, but a disappointing first half finished goalless. The Nou Camp erupted seven minutes into the second half when Neymar swung a free-kick into the area and Suarez found room to head past Navas from six yards for his ninth LaLiga goal of ulham’s ferocious start in the 4-1 win over Reading on Tuesday.Parker’s Cottagers blasted three goals inside the opening half hour, with the hosts down to ten-men thanks to John Swift’s red-card.The win pushes Fulham up to fourth on the Championship the season.Alba did well to muscle Benzema out of possession when a chance to shoot seemed to have opened up for the Frenchman, while substitute Andres Iniesta quickly exerted his influence after coming on with an hour played.First he picked out Neymar on the left of the box, and the Brazilian stepped inside Carvajal but blazed over. Then Iniesta hit the side-netting himself as Carvajal deflected his effort wide.Iniesta’s next notable contribution was an eye-of-the-needle pass to Messi breaking right to left across the edge of the box with eight minutes to go, but the Argentinian screwed his shot wide as he tried to angle an effort across Navas. Those missed chances came back to haunt Barca, Ramos heading powerfully past Ter Stegen as Modric’s inswinging free-kick from the left found him in space. It was a poorly defended set-piece from the hosts, with three Real players lurking unmarked.Remarkably Barcelona almost snatched the lead back at the death as Casemiro headed clear off the line to keep out a looping header from Suarez to ensure urridge are likely to be on their way this summer.Klopp admits Strurridge and Moreno may be playing their last games for the club against Wolves but refused to confirm if they would be leaving Anfield at the end of the season. Both players are off cothe score finished level.

Because the mascot is being funny with people and trying to encourage the crowd.“Maybe he’ll learn from that situation – or maybe they’ll change the mascot!”
